How to get to Hermosillo Mexico
Hermosillo is
located in the Northwest part of Mexico and is easily reached either by
land or by air,
due to its convenient and strategic location.
DRIVING TO HERMOSILLO
To arrive from the south, starting in Mazatlán, Sinaloa,
passing through Culiacán, Los Mochis and Ciudad
Obregón a 4 lanes speedway drive will take you through 750
miles along the Mexican Pacific ocean coast. If you are coming from the
north from any Canadian or American city you can drive all the way down
in four lanes speedways crossing the beautiful state of Arizona.
The simplest way is to drive the Federal speedway 10th reaching up to
Tucson and then moving south to cross the border in Nogales and
visiting scenic towns like Imuris, Magdalena and Santa Ana. If you are
in California your choice is drive to
Hermosillo
passing through famous Tijuana, crossing the border in San Diego going
down 560 miles mostly four lanes but with a two lanes road in some
areas, so driving care must be taken for safety sake. From Northeast
Mexico there are two choices, the first is driving from Ciudad Juarez
and the second is driving from Chihuahua.
The first option brings up two alternatives, crossing the border to the
United States and driving Federal Highway 10th up to Tucson going south
next or an extraordinary although difficult trip through the mountains
in the Mexican side through Agua Prieta, Sonora. It is up to you, the
convenient driving in the speedway or the passage of the mountains, but
with two lane highway. We encourage taking all necessary cautions if
you chose to take this drive. From Chihuahua City you have the chance
to make an unforgettable trip, taking the Ferrocarril Del
Pacífico (train) or by car visiting the Barranca del Cobre,
four times larger than the Grand Canyon and other natural wonders in
the tarahumara's country. From the Center or South of the country, it
is strongly recommended to make the trip by plane using any of the
airlines. Don't drive from Cancún to Tijuana; the distance
is a little bit longer than that from LA to NY.
